Terri announced that our exchange student, Onyx Wacker, will be leaving for Ecuador on August 27^th.  There will be a group to see her off at approximately 8:30. More details to follow.

The Rotary monthly theme for August is membership month. If you know of any potential new members, please forward to membership chair, Amy Kubacki.

Gary is sending letters to hole sponsors for the golf outing. If you know of any potential sponsors, get the information to Gary and he will contact them.

Joe gave an extensive report on the Art Festival. He began by thanking everyone for their efforts to make this year’s event a rousing success, with special thanks to Scott, Andrew, and Michael, for all the work in securing and preparing the event space.

We had 50 artists this year, compared with 38 last year. Patrons were also up this year.  Corporate Sponsors chairperson, Patty Zinn, brought in $14,000 in sponsorship dollars. We hope to increase that next year and ask all members to help find new sponsors. Preliminary estimates have the event bringing in almost $12,000 to the Foundation. Thanks again to all who participated. There will be a final meeting of committee chairs on August 25^th at the Rusty Barrel.
