We met today in the upstairs area of the Library, where Andrew prepared a delicious breakfast for us consisting of French toast, pancakes and sausage. It was truly a gourmet’s delight.
Our speaker today was our own Joe Kraft, who gave us a presentation on the status of the Corley Foundation. The fund has been reallocated in accordance with the guidelines approved by the Board.
After the Corley report, Joe showed a video with highlights from his November 2021 cruise to Antarctica. It was a National Geographic cruise and the sights were amazing.
Jim reported that last week’s golf outing raised a little more than last year.
This Friday is the Rose sale. Roses will be available at Jim’s office, 660 Dover Center Rd. in Bay Village, from 9:00-1:00. We ordered 250 dozen this year, and unfortunately, orders are lagging. Please think of who you surprise this year or ask your co-workers to order. We need everyone’s participation to make this a success.
Andrew reported that our outing at the Foundry was a great time. 8 people participated, including two of our partners, Sarah from Connecting for Kids, and Mary from Footpath. We then met at Brick and Barrel for some liquid refreshments.
Footpath Foundation is having an event next Wednesday at Camp Cheerful. Andrew will send information if anyone is interested in attending.
Andrew reported that Westlake has reached out regarding our Christmas Adopt a Family program. We will participate again this year and details will be forthcoming.
