Our speakers today were two of our RYLA students, Nora Schlegel from Bay and Michelle Ho from Westlake. Both young ladies related their experiences from camp, shared their favorite activities, told us of their involvement in their respective high schools and shared their future plans. Both young ladies are remarkable students and remarkable human beings. Their future is bright and we were fortunate to have them represent our club.

We also had a very distinguished guest visit our club. Ralph Welsh, a Rotarian from Connecticut, visited along with his daughter in law, Diana. Ralph is a 50 year Rotarian, a 15 times Paul Harris Fellow, and is very active in his club in Connecticut. He gave an impassioned talk about his club, and he certainly embodies all of what Rotary stands for.

Our Board meeting next week will begin at 7:15 in order to provide Joe Kraft and his committees ample time to go over all the last-minute details for next weekend’s Art Festival. Please plan to attend this week’s meeting as we need all hands on deck to ensure success for this year’s event.
