The May Board meeting of the Westlake-Bay Village Rotary Club was held on May 27, 2026. The meeting was called to order by President Amy Kubacki at 7:30, and began with the invocation, the Pledge of Allegiance, and the Four Way Test.
In Attendance: President Amy Kubacki, Pat Graham, Jim Strunk, Joe Hudak, Joe Kraft, Jeff Appel, Lisa Hebert, Patty Zinn, Justin Hein, and Andrew Mangels. A quorum was present. Also in attendance were Steve Pettyjohn, Terri Speck, Wayne Niemen, Scott Goggin, Katie Yeager, Bob Maver, Gary Lydrickson, Shane O’Brien, and Glenn Fehribach.
Treasurer’s Report: Joe K. gave a report on the Corley Fund. The balance in the Endowment Fund as of 3-31 is $358,052.50. The investments are in line with the parameters established by the committee.
Donation Committee: No new requests at this time.
Speaker Committee: We are currently booked through July 1st .
Art Fest: There will be a meeting on June 1 st at 6:00 pm
Upcoming Events: Jeff’s installation dinner is June 2 nd at 6:00 pm at Hoolihan’s. The RYLA Banquet is on June 25 th at Hiram College. The Banner Exchange where Terri will be installed as District Governor will be held June 29 th at Sleepy Hollow golf course. Please plan to attend and support Terri.
New Business: The Finance Committee requested moving the endowment fund from Vanguard to Charles Schwab. Justin moved to prepare a resolution authorizing the transfer. Joe H. seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously. Justin then moved to prepare a resolution adding Jim Strunk, Joe Kraft, and Andrew Mangels as authorized signers on the new account. Jeff seconded the motion, and it also passed unanimously.
