February is Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution Month
This month reminds us that peace is built through understanding, empathy, and action—not just the absence of conflict.
As Rotarians, we work to strengthen communities, foster dialogue, and address the root causes of conflict through service. As neighbors and community members, we can honor this month by listening with care, respecting differences, and choosing kindness every day.
Small actions, taken together, can create lasting peace.
At our meeting this week we will hear from Ed Gallagher, Founder/COO of Hope Markers.
Hope Markers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that partners with Kenyan educational leaders to create holistic school environments in which teachers are supported, students reach their potential, and campuses stimulate learning.
