Rotary Club of Westlake-Bay Village
 
The Rotary Club of Westlake-Bay Village held its monthly Board meeting January 27th via Zoom conference call. The meeting was called to order by President Scott Goggin at 7:38 AM
 
In virtual attendance:
President Scott Goggin, Pat Graham, Andrew Mangels, Terri Speck, Joe Hudak, Ray Glinka, Michael O’Donnell, Jeff Appel, and Jim Strunk. Also, in attendance were Holly Schafer, Tim Opsitnick, Kevin Krantz, Bob Maver, Herb Hoppe, Joe Kraft, Kevin Walker, Asst. District Governor Adam Sonnhalter, former member Charlie Vegh, Patty Zinn, and Tim Smith.  A quorum was present.
 
Scott opened the meeting and welcomed everyone and thanked them for their attendance. He introduced past member and past President of our club, Charlie Vegh who was visiting.
 
Secretary’s Report:  Jim moved and Joe H. second to approve the minutes of the December meeting. Motion carries.
 
Let the minutes reflect that the Board approved to accept the applications of Holly Schafer, Tim Smith, Patricia Zinn and Ramsey Inman via an email vote on January 12, 2021.
 
Treasurer’s Report: Scott provided the December Treasurer’s report. The balance in the club account on 12-31 was $1836.66. Pat moved and Jim second to accept the December report. Motion carried.
 
Committees:
 
Joe Kraft spoke briefly about the Art Festival. We are still looking for corporate sponsors. The list of committed and prospective artists is continuing to grow. Please keep the leads coming.
 
New Business:
Adam Sonnhalter inducted Holly Schafer, Tim Smith and Patty Zinn as the newest members into our club. Each new member spoke briefly about themselves and the membership enthusiastically welcomed them into our club.
 
There being no further business, Terri moved and Joe second to adjourn at 8:00.
