The Rotary Club of Westlake-Bay Village held its weekly Wednesday meeting on December 17, 2025. The meeting was a hybrid meeting with 20 participants meeting via zoom and in person at Westlake Porter
Public Library. President Amy Kubacki called the meeting to order at 7:30 a.m., began with a prayer and meditation, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and the Rotary Four-Way Test. Amy welcomed all our guests.
 

Brian Moran and Gary Lydrickson have now both attended their third meeting, and Glenn Fehribach has attended his second. We hope welcome them as new members soon.


Plans are well underway for the Epiphany Project. We need volunteers to help deliver the gift bags on January 5 th from 9-11. Sign up if you can help.


Amy thanked Rachel for all her work in organizing the Holiday party. It was a wonderful evening, and a great time was had by all. Thanks Rachel!!


The Over 90 party at the Senior Center will be held May 13 th . This is the third year our club is involved. More details will be coming soon. 


The Four-Way Speech Contest will be held March 4 th . Katie has agreed to Emcee the evening. We will need 3 judges, let her know if you are interested.


Our speaker today was Frank Jastrzembski from Shrouded Veterans, and organization dedicated to restoring 19 th Century graves from the Mexican war and the Civil war. Shrouded Veterans was founded in 2019 and is a 501C3 organization. To date, Frank has restored 167 headstones, which are provided at no charge by the Department of Veteran Affairs. He has visited 7 Countries, 31 states and Washington DC, and 108  different cemeteries. To learn more, visit his facebook page at shroudedveterans.com.
