About: Nicole Donnelly is the Executive Director at the Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory & Educational Foundation since June 2023.

She is a visual artist, entrepreneur, arts administrator, and educator from Philadelphia, PA. She taught hand papermaking at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and the University of the Arts, and was the Collaborative Papermaker for the Brodsky Center at PAFA (2019-2023). In 2013, she founded paperTHINKtank, a community hand papermaking studio, which continues its work in Philadelphia. She served as President of IAPMA (International Association of Hand Papermakers and Paper Artists), 2015-2022, is an active member of North American Hand Papermakers, and her writing has been published by The Legacy Press, Hand Papermaking magazine, and more. She is a core organizer of the Hand Papermakers' Archive & Database project. She studied papermaking with Timothy Barrett at the University of Iowa, fell in love with the process, and hasn’t looked back. Her artwork is focused on the environmentally sustainable possibilities and beauty of handmade paper.

Work history includes the following titles & duties: adjunct professor; after-school art teacher; web designer and developer; database developer and manager for a private art collection; digital fine art printing; documentation and digital archiving of original artwork; production manager for a small commercial art group; fine art framing; etc.
