Rotary Meeting Highlights 10-21

For those unable to attend today’s meeting, we had a lot of good information disbursed. There was a total of 10 people on the Zoom.

President Goggin started the meeting by clarifying information regarding the newsletter. It is scheduled to go out Monday morning and will contain the meeting agenda, the Zoom link for the meeting, the highlights from last weeks meeting and other articles of interest. If you are not receiving the newsletter in your inbox, check the junk or spam file. The email will be from Westlake Bay Village Rotary, not from Dr. Goggin.

Pat reported on last week’s Rose and thanked all the members for their support. We sold 199 dozen roses and received $35 in donations. Profit to the club was $1865. Thanks also to Jim Strunk for all his help, and to the members who delivered roses.

We were going to vote on the proposed changes to the By-laws today, but due to the small attendance, it was decided that we would wait until the November 4 to present to the club for a vote.

Joe Kraft spent the remainder of the meeting kicking off the Art Festival. As you recall, we were going to hold it this year but canceled due to the pandemic. Joe went over committee assignments and asked all members to start promoting the event. Please visit our website at westlakebayvillagerotaryartfest.com for all the details. The event will be held July 31, 2021 on the grounds between the school and the library. Artists can register and pay on the website.

Next week is our monthly Board meeting. Please plan on attending.
