The William Corley Foundation
The William Corley Foundation held its monthly Board meeting January 27, 2021 via conference call. The meeting was called to order by President Scott Goggin at 8:00 AM
In virtual attendance:
President Scott Goggin, Pat Graham, Andrew Mangels, Terri Speck, Joe Hudak, Ray Glinka, Michael O’Donnell, Jeff Appel, and Jim Strunk. Also, in attendance were Holly Schafer, Tim Opsitnick, Kevin Krantz, Bob Maver, Herb Hoppe, Joe Kraft, Kevin Walker, Asst. District Governor Adam Sonnhalter, former member Charlie Vegh, Patty Zinn, and Tim Smith. A quorum was present.
Jim moved and Ray second to approve the minutes of the December meeting. Motion carries.
Scott presented the December Treasurer’s report for the Corley Foundation. The balance in the account 12-31 was $15,172.01. He also presented the year end report for the Husak-Washburn Endowment Fund which had a balance of $324,169.39. Jim moved and Terri second to approve the December Treasurer’s report. Motion carried.
Jim pointed out that the numbers are now final for the golf outing and we made in excess of $11,000. Kudos to Gary DiLillo and his committee for an outstanding job.
Herb Hoppe offered to update the By-laws for the Corley Foundation. Some suggestions made were to lower the number of directors, incorporate the Corley business into club meetings and to only meet quarterly. After discussion, it was decided to have Herb and his committee move forward with the review.
There being no more business for the Board, President Goggin adjourned the meeting at 8:23
